In recent years, we have set down the foundations that we hope will let us progress in our vision of becoming one of the 10 best airlines in the world, and thus capable of giving Latin America a cargo and passenger transport company that can compete in this globalized world. Our pillars will always be the safety of our flights and the quality of our service. We will continue being a reliable, world-class company that also has the power to show the charm of the warmth of our people and the natural beauty of our continent. Dear Passengers:

I am proud to be able to inform you that LAN is continuing to expand in South America. Today we are operating in Chile, Peru and Ecuador with companies that have captured a significant share of those markets. In addition to flights to the United States and other South American countries, we have now started operations to Europe from Peru and Ecuador. In this way we have consolidated a flight network that encompasses the main destinations and preferences of our passengers.

We want to be able to offer our services not only to and from South America, but also within the continent, and become the region´s favorite airline. To this end, our objective is to continue expanding our operations.

We know however, that it is not enough simply to have a vision of growth. We must combine the energy that this vision gives us with the ability to adequately plan and shape our future. We have to ensure that during this expansion we maintain the level of service that we give our passengers, the well-being of our employees and the communities in which we operated and the results that give our shareholders.

Our twin priorities will continue being the safety of our flights and the quality of our service. We will strive to continue being a dependable world class company, with the added benefit of being able to show the world the warmth of our people and the natural wonders of our continent.

In recent years we have built the foundations which we hope will enable us to come closer to our vision of becoming one of the world´s top ten airlines, and that way provide South America with a passenger and cargo company capable of competing in our globalized world.
